Temporary, fixed term until 21st April 2026 to provide maternity cover, full time, 37 hours per week. Part time/job share will be considered.
We have an exciting opportunity to appoint a Youth Justice Business Co-ordinator to join our friendly and professional team.
Based at Riverside House, a hybrid working model is currently in place.
Rotherham Youth Justice Service is a multi-agency team comprising of Youth Justice Workers, Social Workers, Health Workers, Restorative Justice Practitioners, Probation Service and the Police, working within the Early Help Service, part of Rotherham Children & Young People’s Service.
The post holder will provide specialist high quality administrative support to the service to assist with the smooth running of the Practice. Duties will include receiving and coordinating incoming correspondence and the co-ordination of, and attendance at, a range of meetings and event management. The post holder will ensure adherence to compliance and confidentiality policies, ensuring all legislative, national and local policies in relation to children and vulnerable adults are followed correctly.
The successful applicant will have:
- A Knowledge of the Youth Justice System and legislation and/or a willingness to undertake training.
- Effective administration experience, utilising in house systems and software and evidence of using verbal and written communication skills to enable liaison with a range of professionals and agencies.
- Experience of managing a variety of demanding tasks simultaneously and successfully achieving deadlines and targets, often without close supervision.
- Knowledge of a variety of software packages, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability and confidence to influence and manage a range of relationships, including the ability to deal with complex issues in a sensitive and appropriate manner.
