Team Manager Youth Justice

Are you an experienced leader in youth justice or social work, ready to make a difference? Rotherham Council are seeking a dynamic Team Manager to lead their multi-agency Youth Justice Service (YJS).
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and develop a multi-agency YJS team, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
Oversee risk management, safeguarding, and intervention planning for children and young people in the justice system.
Provide professional advice and support to staff, partners, and stakeholders.
Drive service improvements, performance management, and quality assurance.
Represent the service at strategic forums and multi-agency panels.
About You:
Substantial experience managing teams in youth justice, social work, or a related field.
Strong background in multi-agency working, safeguarding, and service development.
Confident in decision-making, problem-solving, and communication.
Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and policy.
Available to work 3 days per week on site
Qualifications:
Social Work England (SWE) registered social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, CSS, Degree in Social Work)
OR
Relevant degree or Level 7 qualification in a related area.
Other Requirements:
Enhanced DBS check.
Flexible working, including some out-of-hours duties.
Ability to travel within the Borough
