This role can be located in our corporate offices in London, Paris, or Munich.

At Amazon Game Studios (AGS), we believe that games have the power to connect communities at a massive scale. You will work alongside talented industry veterans, with key contributors from dozens of titles including League of Legends, StarCraft II, Diablo 2, Magic: The Gathering, Age of Empires, Bioshock, Thief, and The Sims.

In addition to infrastructure development, the role entails working side by side with peers to determine an optimal post release roadmap and responding to business objectives of the changing live environment. You will help build a responsive team to operate our 24/7 global service. This is a hands-on role with a large business impact. You should be a highly creative and data-driven leader as well as an excellent communicator.

Key job responsibilities

**We expect this leader to**:

- Quickly gain a deep understanding of our players and our games
- Oversee infrastructure development for games as a service
- Work closely with the engineers to architect and develop the best technical design and approach
- Coordinate effectively with the central, marketing and game teams, as well as Twitch, finance and legal
- Ensure clear communication and coordination across relevant teams
- Prepare technical requirements and software design specifications
- Have expansive knowledge of GaaS (PM knowledge a plus) and experience working in multi-cultural environments
- Report on status of development, quality, operations and system performance to management
- Have ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project
- Communicate with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe product features, and technical designs
- Passionate about game development
- Deep experience with console or PC game publishing including go to market approaches
- Demonstrated ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems and, in particular, a history of identifying customer needs and inventing new ways to meet those needs
- This leader will be a big thinker who is perpetually focused on the strategy, yet is also tactical and makes sure we have excellent execution
- Analytical horsepower to break down complex problems, and a strong will to get stuff done and deliver results
- Ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate vision and drive execution and work across the team
- Successful history of working collaboratively in a creative environment with game design teams
