As a Barclays PMO Lead, you’ll be part of our Markets team within the Markets Pre Trade business area. You’ll be instrumental in implementing the Markets & Research Technology Strategic Portfolio Lead, helping us drive forward the buildout of the PMO function. This will include both the Project Delivery PMO and the Portfolio Delivery PMO functions, with the aim of process standardization, simplification, clarification, and automation.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Supporting senior management and colleagues through promotion of best practice, with a focus on status tracking engagement and process change implementation
- Striving for efficiency and automation, and assisting other teams with best practice
- Managing and allocating PMO people distribution across our projects and portfolios
- Collaborating with wider Markets Project PMO teams as well as CIB PMO Control team to operate consistently
- Being accountable for all TC2 PMO activities, including maintaining standards and providing training aligned with SICM for projects
- Building & deploying client analytics & research tools for Barclays web portal and mobile devices
- Driving forward the buildout of the PMO function to include both the Project Delivery PMO and the Portfolio Delivery PMO functions
- Solving the complex problems associated to this space

**What we’re looking for**:

- Experience working in both Navigator and Plutus
- An understanding of data management and best practice
- Experience working within a structured project management framework
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages, including Project, Powerpoint, Word and Excel

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Experience working in a global team
- Exposure to the Investment Banking / Technology industry
- Experience of managing small projects, or exposure to the end to end project lifecycle
- Knowledge of Barclays change standards as well as governance required throughout the lifecycle of a project
