PMO Analyst – Investment Banking

Location:
Glasgow (Hybrid, 3 days onsite per week)

Contract:
6-Month Initial Contract (Inside IR35)

I'm working with a leading investment banking client who are seeking a PMO Analyst to join their team on a hybrid basis in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical, governance, and reporting experience to contribute to large-scale transformation initiatives in a global financial environment.

Role Overview:

As a PMO Analyst, you'll provide essential support across project governance, financial tracking, risk management, and portfolio reporting. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, programme leads, and data teams to ensure delivery standards are maintained and that decisions are supported by accurate, insightful analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support programme and project governance across multiple workstreams
  • Maintain and update project plans, RAID logs, and financial trackers
  • Prepare high-quality reports, dashboards, and executive summaries
  • Coordinate key governance forums, including tracking actions and milestones
  • Support resource management and capacity planning
  • Assist with process improvement and standardisation within the PMO function

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a PMO Analyst or Project Analyst within financial services or fintech
  • Strong understanding of project governance, planning, and reporting standards
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills (experience with data visualisation tools is a plus)
  • Confident stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience supporting large-scale data, technology, or regulatory programmes desirable
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery environments
