Sword is a leading provider of business technology solutions within the Energy, Public and Finance Sectors, driving transformational change within our clients. We use proven technology, specialist teams and domain expertise to build solid technical foundations across platforms, data, and business applications. We have a passion for using technology to solve business problems, working in partnership with our clients to help in achieving their goals.
About the role:
As a PMO Analyst, you will support the planning, coordination and governance of complex programmes operating within regulated and operational technology environments. You will work closely with Project and Programme Managers to ensure delivery frameworks are followed, risks and dependencies are understood, and programme information is accurate, timely and well-structured. This is a role suited to someone who enjoys bringing clarity, organisation and consistency to busy delivery teams, with a strong focus on quality, reporting and effective controls.
As the PMO Analyst, you will
- Provide day-to-day support across planning, scheduling, reporting and governance activities.
- You will maintain project documentation, track milestones and dependencies, and support the management of risks, issues and change controls.
- Ensure project artefacts are kept up to date, provide consolidated reporting to stakeholders and help drive adherence to delivery frameworks and standards.
- Assist with financial tracking, resource forecasting and RAID processes, and work closely with project teams to ensure information is accurate and aligned.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO function to strengthen delivery discipline and consistency.
- You will bring experience in a PMO or project support role within technical, regulated or enterprise environments, ideally within energy, utilities or critical national infrastructure.
- You will have strong organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple streams of information and maintain high-quality documentation.
- Confidence working with planning tools, RAID management and reporting frameworks is important, as is the ability to communicate clearly with both project teams and senior stakeholders.
- You will be someone who thrives in structured environments, enjoys creating order and consistency, and brings a proactive, detail-focused approach to supporting the delivery lifecycle
