**Description**:
The Head of Product & Pricing will be part of the executive team for CHL Mortgages lending business CHL Mortgages for Intermdieriers (CMI). The Head of Product & Pricing is responsible for all aspects of pricing and product development design through to implementation, together with articulating and delivering the product development strategy for the business, to ensure CMI continues to offer value enhancing propositions and remain competitive within the specialised BTL segment.

The role will assist in maximising sales, revenue and profitability via appropriate pricing controls, together with overseeing all elements of well governed market leading product design.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Continually develop robust proposals for discussion/approval at the Products and Pricing Committee
- Ongoing oversight, monitoring, analysis and reporting on market trends, proposing new opportunities where appropriate, together with amendments to the existing product proposition and pricing in order to drive growth in line with stakeholder lending appetites
- Ongoing oversight, monitoring, analysis & reporting on the underlying portfolio and the capital markets to ensure our products are in-line with stakeholder return expectations
- Ownership of the Product Development framework and responsibility for programme management within the framework
- Ensuring the Product team function is optimally structured and resourced
- Overseeing all stages of product development
- Managing the Group’s product ideas forum to ensure a constant evolution of product offering
- Actively monitoring product ranges against the wider market including but not limited to peer market, wider lending market, and UK economic environment
- Researching customers financial needs that are not optimally served by existing product range
- Reviewing company and industry data to ensure the value is captured from a product development point of view

**Skills Knowledge and Expertise**:

- Detailed working knowledge in the mortgage environment of:

- FCA regulation,
- Legislative and regulatory
- External business awareness, including an understanding of the UK Financial Services Market
- Demonstrable experience in Financial Services or Risk based firm
- Past experience in the same or similar role/industry
