We are an award winning Financial Services company based in Fleet seeking an additional full time HR Advisor to join our existing HR Advisor, reporting into the HR Manager. The business has expanded during 2021 and as we continue to grow, we can offer the opportunity to join our Head Office in Fleet working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with 2 days WFH available after completion of the probationary 3 month period. In return, you will receive a salary of up to £35K, plus 25 days’ holidays, non-contributory pension, private healthcare, life assurance and income protection.
The purpose of the HR Advisor is to support our Head office staff of c100+ and is a complete HR Generalist role covering Recruitment, Payroll, Benefits admin and supporting with any Employee Relations where required such as TUPE, Disciplinaries, Absence management and Maternity. You will develop and maintain relationships with all staff across all departments, communicating at all levels. You will also provide advice and guidance to managers and team leaders with employee relations matters

Reporting to the Head of HR and providing generalist support to the company the HR Advisor will be required to:

- Shared responsibility for managing the entire recruitment process including the administration and ensuring Managers are fully supported to make informed recruitment decisions
- Responsible for entire employee life cycle including the onboarding of all new staff and the monitoring of pre-employment responses, highlighting any areas of concerns to the HR Director
- Responsible for the introduction of all new staff into the Company ensuring a professional and friendly welcome
- Responsible for the monthly Payroll process ensuring total accuracy and set deadlines are met and act as a main point of contact for all staff
- Responsible for the administration of all Company benefits (pension, healthcare, life assurance, income protection, childcare vouchers, eye care vouchers)
- Responsible for all other HR related administration including but not limited to probation reviews, absence monitoring, job role changes, remuneration reviews, employment references etc.
- Support and/or work alongside the HR Director and HR Team dealing with ad-hoc ER issues as they arise
- Support the HR Director in the wellbeing of all staff by liaising with Managers and Occupational Health as required
- Responsible for producing various methods of HR communications including but not limited to monthly Exco Report, Staff Newsletter and Employment Law Newsletter/Update
- Promote Diversity & Inclusion
- Responsible for Employee Engagement initiatives
- Keep up to date with employment law changes
- Create and deliver training sessions to line managers and staff to support their knowledge and understanding on HR related matters
- Identify and recommend continuous improvement of HR processes and practices
- Promoting external training courses and coordinating attendance and keep training records up to date
- Support the running of the Facilities desk in the absence of the Facilities Co-Ordinator as required
- To contribute to / manage ad hoc projects as required
- Undertake ad-hoc work on behalf of the HR Director
You will be PC literate with a knowledge of Microsoft Office products and adaptive to ongoing change.
