The Head of Procurement provides leadership in the planning and executing of the purchasing activities necessary to ensure the timely delivery of the specified materials and services at competitive pricing.

**Working at NTT**

**Primary Activities**
- Liaising with key company employees to determine their product and service needs
- Overseeing all procurement activities including pre-qualification, negotiating supplier agreements, preparation of contracts and tender management
- Delegating tasks and supervising the work of Purchasing and Procurement Agents across all departments, including offshore third party outsource provider
- Identifying areas for improvement to continually drive performance and business results
- Leading a team of Purchasing Agents, support escalations, and delegate tasks across departments when necessary
- Managing overall direction, coordination and evaluation of procurement for the organisation
- Developing strong relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners to improve business outcomes
- Creating policies and procedures for risk management and mitigation
- Reporting of spend and applicable rebates
- Managing performance via SLA’s / KPI’s and tracking such against company objectives

- Exceptional talent in negotiating and networking
- Solid knowledge of supplier or third-party IT services and software
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

**Qualifications**
- Equivalent Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field like Business Management, Contract Management or Procurement
- Beneficial to possess Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIP) certification and/or Higher National Diploma/Certificate in Procurement

**Experience**
- +10 years’ experience in a procurement related role, preferably within the IT sector
- Experience in leading and managing a hybrid near / offshore team
- Beneficial demonstratable experience in driving transformational activities within former procurement roles
