Starting in 2017, we're a platform helping our users find restaurants with a variety of different cuisines, wherever they are. We work with restaurants brands in the form of promotional campaigns as well as content creation / management to help them stand out

**Job description**:
We’re after a passionate and high-performing Social Media Intern to join our team. They’ll be responsible for planning and executing social content across various platforms for several exciting restaurant brands that we are partnered with. The role will focus on supporting our Directors to create unique content for our client’s audience and their ever growing social presence.

**What you’ll be working on**:

- Working predominantly across Instagram and Facebook, but skills in Tik-Tok also beneficial
- Dealing with customer queries via social channels
- Create engaging captions for posts and schedule content
- Assist with engaging content creation for all channels
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in the industry
- Propose and deliver new ideas / concepts for social media content
- Work with the Directors on other administrative tasks where required
- Previous use of social media channels essential

**Qualities**:

- A strong interest in social media, the latest food trends, and restaurants.
- Passionate about marketing
- Creative mindset for idea generation
- A can-do and driven attitude

**Essential skills**:

- Excellent literacy, written and spoken communication skills
- Good administrative and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and deliver consistently
- Strong eye for attention to detail
- An understanding of social media platforms and how businesses use Facebook, Instagram, Tik-Tok and Twitter
- Understanding of social media analytics
- Strong image creating and editing skills
- Good IT skills, MS office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Able to work to a brief, independently and as part of a team
- Ability to create and amend engaging Reels & TikTok videos
- Graphic design skills preferable but not essential

**Experience / Qualifications**:

- Previous use of social media channels essential
- Minimum grade C or equivalent in GCSE English

Relevant paid or voluntary work experience is useful which has been gained in a commercial area requiring contact with customers or the public (particularly sales and marketing). This position would ideally suit a student or someone looking for part-time experience. Flexible hours and training provided.

Above all we are looking for a driven individual who can use their own initiative and bring ideas to the table. Experience with digital marketing will be advantageous, however a willingness to learn and get stuck in will be key to growing in this role and being a successful member of the team.
