To makesocialbetter for this client, we are looking for native level Simplified or Traditional Chinese Social Media Community Managers & Moderator to monitor social channels and excite and engage with their audience. What You’ll Do In this opportunity, you will dive into the travel and tourism world. You’ll be an essential part of our team, connecting with the brand's audiences for the Chinese markets, in addition to moderating content. You’ll address customer inquiries and comments in a timely, professional manner, resonating with the brand's tone of voice. You’ll engage across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, keeping conversations vibrant and engaging. You will manage and grow an online community, moderating to ensure a welcoming, judgement-free space where consumers feel safe and respected. Working Hours We are looking for someone with greater availability across the week, especially weekends. Shifts: Moderation 6pm, Engagement 10pm. Child Protection Social Element places the protection of children at the heart of our work. All candidates will have to agree to a criminal background check and provide details for two professional referees at the point of accepting an offer of work. Requirements Excellent Simplified Chinese language knowledge; superb writing skills in Simplified Chinese. Advanced English language skills; training and communication in English. Background experience: engagement, social customer care, and/or community management. Social media knowledge: experience with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and understanding their audiences; awareness of latest trends. Comfort with digital tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Social Sprout) and internal tools (availability scheduling tools, Google Chat). Cultural knowledge and interest in California; ability to learn and understand the California brand and product offering. Self-motivated, remote-friendly with a structured approach to work and ability to maintain productivity. IT Policy: BYOD. PC must meet requirements below. IT Requirements Operating system: Windows 11 or macOS 13 (Ventura) or higher with Admin credentials. At least 8GB RAM (16GB recommended). Stable home broadband: minimum 20 Mbps download, 1 Mbps upload (50 Mbps / 5 Mbps recommended). 40 GB available HDD (SSD recommended). Webcam and headset. Android or iOS device for 2FA. Chromebook, Linux, and Cloud VMs are not supported. If you want to run a local VM, provide specs and plan. Touchscreen monitor without keyboard/mouse is not allowed.
