Programme Support Officer

As a Programme Support Officer, the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff across the Better Care Fund Team to:
- Manage a programme of projects effectively and efficiently by supporting the programme management office in their day-to-day activities.
- Support the Programme Director with day-to-day inbox and calendar management, providing an enhanced service in times of absence.
- Provide business support to the team including; arranging internal and external meetings, room/venue bookings as well as facilitating virtual meetings using various online platforms, coordinate annual leave and overtime, support the recruitment process and onboarding of new team members.
- Provide guidance to team members on objective setting and personal development plans.
- Support with the development, implementation and maintenance of various reporting/tracking methods including finance, risks, contingency and programme reporting.
- Lead on a number of Programme Management Office (PMO) projects contributing to the BCFT programme delivery.
- Track progress and impact of projects by running a variety of project reports (e.g. progress/risk/capacity)
- Increase the efficiency of existing processes by creating a range of process maps and guidance.
**In particular the post holder will**:
- Provide high quality project, service, initiative and administrative support including information and analysis.
- Undertake reporting and analysis of information to support delivery
The post holder is a key member of the team whose overarching goal is to enable, promote and support the effective use of data, information, knowledge and technology to improve, inform and support a portfolio of projects, services, and initiatives.
