**The client**:
My client, a nationally recognised financial services business who regularly feature as one of the UK's best places to work are looking for a passionate and experienced Release Train Engineer to join their growing internal IT Applications Team.

**The role**:
I am looking for a pragmatic and progressive Agile Practitioner to join my client as they further embed and mature Agile across Group IT and the wider Business. As the Release Train Engineer, you will be responsible for driving and influencing delivery ofthe portfolio of change in line with the Product Owners roadmap while leading a team of Scrum Masters.

**About you**:
As a seasoned Agile Practitioner you will have strong knowledge of Agile methodology and frameworks (such as Scrum, Kanban) as well as Scrum theory, rules and practices ideally within a Scaled Agile environment. You will be well versed in leading, planningand tracking complex roadmaps across multiple projects with the ability to monitor, manage and report on the resource profile for all delivery and escalations; with expert knowledge of the software delivery lifecycle.

**Key Skills and Experience required**:

- Know the fundamentals of iterative and incremental development.
- The ability to shape and support Agile capability across the Scrum teams and organisation via direct involvement with the teams.
- The skills to shape and continuously improve ways of working to provide the team with the platform for optimised delivery.
- Great stakeholder skills in order to build and manage strong relationships with senior stakeholders within the business.
