Company Description
Chubb now has an opportunity for a Credit Controller to join our large Credit Control department in Blackburn. The main goal of the Credit Controller role is to contact customers to collect outstanding account balances, work with customers to understand their situation and resolve outstanding payment issues.
**Job Description**:
- Work to targets for monthly cash collection and quarterly aged debt
- Negotiate payment plans, follow up failed promises to pay and resolve disputes
- Update customer account information
- Reconciliation of customer accounts
- Prepare overdue debts for legal action
**Qualifications**:
- Have strong customer service skills which can be phone based or face-to-face
- You may be a recent graduate looking to start your career, or have experience working in retail or hospitality
- Be experienced in working towards targets
- Have strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships
- Be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
- Prior experience in credit control / collections is not required
