Job Title: Credit Controller (3-Month Temporary Post)
Location: Blackburn - Hybrid 3 days in office
**Salary**: £23,000 (pro-rata)
We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join our team on a temporary basis for a period of 3 months. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring timely payment of outstanding invoices and managing customer accounts to reduce the risk of bad debt.
**Responsibilities**:
- Resolving any queries related to outstanding payments or customer accounts
- Liaising with other departments to resolve issues related to customer accounts
- Preparing reports on customer accounts and credit status
- Negotiating payment plans and settlements with customers
- Monitoring and managing credit limits for customers
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and payments
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Knowledge of credit control procedures and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
