Due to expediential growth in our business, we have an exciting opportunity and are recruiting for a **Credit Control Assistant **to work with the **Credit Control Team** based in our Rishton office.

Nurture provides landscape maintenance teams at some of the UK's most prestigious commercial centres as well as some of the most iconic public spaces. Since starting in 2008 we now turnover in excess of £80 million and have over 1400 employees who are building their careers with us. We strive to maintain landscapes to complement both their environment and the character of each venue.

**Job Purpose**

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage own customer debt ledger, including chasing with the customer on a daily basis.
- Run reports from ERP and SAP B1.
- Work closely with managers and directors, including sharing data and frequently updating on aged debt reports.
- Work closely with the Treasury Assistant to assist in allocating cash receipts and cheques.
- Upload an aged debt report to Microsoft Teams, ensuring up to date and transparent information for the relevant managers and directors.
- Work closely with the invoicing and accounting teams at Head Office.
- Chase queries and follow up, where required.
- Assisting with reports for management, as and when required.
- Assisting Head of Finance Operations with adhoc project work.
- Assisting with integration of tasks related to credit control of new acquisitions.

**Skills and experiences**:

- Previous experience in a Credit Control position is essential.
- Previous experience of working alongside various sections and teams in Finance.
- Experience of working well as part of a team.
- Experience with MS Excel, including familiarity with pivot tables, lookups etc is desirable.
- Experience with financial systems, including SAP B1 would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
- Flexible, enthusiastic and can-do attitude.

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
