Project Co-ordinator (OLM) 37.5 hours per week fixed term

The Project Co-ordinator (OLM) will work as part of the Learning and Development Team and support the effective delivery of a range of learning and development programmes to meet the needs of staff and prospective employees.

This project will see the roll out of enhanced features of the Oracle Learning Management system (OLM) to enable staff to take advantage of self-serve option - the post holder will lead on the support of this project which will include implementation alongside engagement, promotion and training and involve monitoring and reporting on project plan progress.

The Learning and Development function supports a wide range of learning and development opportunities in order to meet identified training and development needs. Our focus is on ensuring the provision of high quality learning and development opportunities to support our staff to deliver outstanding patients care and maintain safe working practices.
- Lead on providing project support for the roll out of enhanced functions of Oracle Learning Management System (OL)
- Identify areas where OLM can be utilised to improve efficiency and to find innovative ways to maximise the benefit to the organisation in the use of OLM
- Work with the ESR Implementation Advisor and other stakeholders to develop features within OLM which will allow staff to access self-service functions such as course bookings, manager dashboard, role specific portlets etc
- Maintain a project plan for delivery of initiatives and update relevant stakeholders on progress
- Organise and facilitate promotional, engagement and guidance sessions for staff
- Communicate, share knowledge with and provide support and advice to other team members
- Liaise with relevant teams to ensure efficient and effective service provision, eg ESR/IT teams
- Support the design, implementation and review of Standard Operating Procedures in order to maximise productivity and ensure consistency of practice
- Attend and contribute to a range of meetings as required
- Set up and maintain bespoke recording systems as required
- Provide information in a variety of formats to staff at all levels
- Provide advice, guidance and training to managers and staff with activities relating to the OLM system
- Develop information and publicity resources to support engagement
- Collect, collate and analyse feedback on all aspects of the project and act on this information to improve the quality of provision
