HR Administrator

We have an excellent opportunity for the role of HR Administrator to join Millers Vanguard, based in Bury. Millers Vanguard employs 440 employees and in addition provides HR support to our sister company Serviceline, who employ 40 employees.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Onboarding - supporting new employees through the new starter process including contracts of employment, new starter documention, reference requests, booking accommodation.
- Offboarding - including exit interviews and leavers process.
- Overseeing the probation period process.
- Monitor absences in line with the absence policy.
- Updating and maintaining employee records and changes including leave, absence, terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements including GDPR.
- Building effective relationships with line managers, employees and stakeholders.
- Monitor the HR inbox and provide first line support to staff queries, ensuring these are dealt with promptly, accurately and professionally..
- Provide note taking support during formal meeting where required.
- Liasing with payroll on a weekly basis, ensuring compliance with HR documentation.
- Offering advice and support on all HR policies.
- Generating HR reports.
- The role will suit someone who is looking to develop their HR career.
- Previous administration experience in an HR environment is desirable, along with a good understanding of HR policies and procedures.
- Experience of working with varying levels of seniority.
- Friendly, professional, approachable and personable.
- Use of SageHR would be an advantage.
