Based from our Newcastle upon Tyne office, the role will be to support the expansion of our growing worldwide event portfolio of sporting events.
Nirvana is the official Global Travel Partner for The IRONMAN Group, Spartan Race Series, World Triathlon, British Triathlon, USA Triathlon, the Great Run Company, PSA Squash, Super Halfs and many many more.

**The Role**
Operations & Project Admin Support
**Job Status**
- Full Time
- Based at our Newcastle office
**The Team**
The Operations Team are responsible for the preparations and delivery of the Nirvana portfolio of travel, logistics and accommodation packages.
The Operations Team operate from the company’s Newcastle headquarters but international travel could be part of your role. You will help deliver the Nirvana product around some of the world’s greatest sporting events.
The objective of the Operations Team is to bring together the event, location, and logistics into one cohesive package that supports Nirvana athletes and supporters every step of the way on their journey
**Role Summary**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Administrative Support**:
- Manage and maintain data
- Prepare and distribute reports and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records, files, and databases for operational activities.
- **Operations Coordination**:
- Assist in monitoring and improving operational workflows.
- Coordinate communication between departments to ensure timely task execution.
- Support logistics, inventory management, and procurement processes as needed.
- **Customer and Vendor Relations**:
- Handle correspondence with clients and external partners.
- Assist in resolving customer enquiries related to operations.
- Maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders.
- **Data Management**:
- Input, update, and track data in internal systems.
- Analyse operational data and provide insights to improve efficiency.
- Assist in compiling and tracking performance metrics.
- **Compliance and Policies**:
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support audits and prepare necessary documentation for compliance purposes.
- **General Support**:
- Perform other administrative or operational tasks as assigned by the management team.
- Act as a backup for other support roles within the operations department.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in an administrative or operations support role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with operations processes, logistics, or project management is a plus.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £23,015.00-£25,000.00 per year
