We are recruiting for an Admin Assistant for our small office just outside of Thirsk. There is a wide range of duties and you must be willing to take on extra administrative tasks as and when required by colleagues and managers. The role will be 20-25 hours per week, with some flexibility on hours and days. There may be scope to increase to full-time in the future. The primary duties and responsibilities will include:

- Arranging travel plans and hotel stays for staff members
- Ordering supplies, such as stationery, printer refills or staff uniforms
- Assisting with the preparation of packing lists for shipping team
- Filing invoices/documents
- Processing invoices and other basic bookkeeping tasks
- Confidence to communicate effectively and accurately with a wide range of people, from senior management to customers and suppliers
- Ability to accurately transcribe messages and record information over the phone or in person
- Proficiency in computer programs, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
- Data entry skills and knowledge of databases and spreadsheets
- Ability to use basic accounting software (not essential, full training will be given)
- Professional and flexible approach and attitude
- Understand responsibilities with regards to confidentiality
- Prioritise own workload
- Work in close liaison and support other team members, which may include providing cover when required
- Additional duties at a comparable level of responsibility may be allocated to the post/post holder

Due to location own transport is essential.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £14,500.00-£22,000.00 per year
