We are on an exciting journey with EDI The University has invested in the EDI team to support the organisation to progress, including the appointment of a new Director of EDI. We are launching our new and ambitious Inclusive, Diversity and Culture (IDC) strategy, outlining our key focus over the next 5 years and we are now looking for an energetic, organised, and passionate person to become our EDI project officer.

Reporting to our EDI Manager, you will have exceptional planning and organisational skills to support the EDI team with all administrative tasks from developing minutes and agendas, raising invoices, updating content on the EDI intranet and web pages to supporting the EDI team's presence at events and helping colleagues to arrange and promote both internal and external training events and much more As well as this, you will be managing the diary of our Director of EDI, providing the post holder with first class administration support, and helping with the setting up of all EDI governance meetings. No two days will be the same and you'll be involved in a number of fun and exciting projects

You will have good knowledge, understanding and demonstrable experience of project management, supporting the EDI team by developing, leading, and monitoring effective project plans, highlighting key milestones and risks. You will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, juggle a number of key priorities and use your initiative to get tasks completed to tight deadlines and to high standards.
