An exciting opportunity has arisen for an interim Disability & Inclusion Advisor to join a forward thinking Education organisation, with an established Student Support provision. The post is suited to an ED&I specialist who is passionate about inclusivity,accessibility and equity for all.

Job responsibilities include:

- Creation of support packages, and provision of advice and guidance to disabled students through 1-1 appointments to assess needs and create a holistic package of support
- Advising students on obtaining appropriate medical evidence, and understanding the level of support available
- Hold and manage a caseload of disabled students, offering support, advice, and monitoring the progress of student disability support regularly
- Develop and train staff on the Inclusive Curriculum
- Hold and manage weekly well-being drop in sessions for students, assessing support needs in relation to disability and/or mental health, agreeing and following up on next steps to ensure appropriate well-being support is provided efficiently
- Play an active role in the development of the student disability provision including effective service processes, policies and projects
- Evidenced experience working as a Disabilities or Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Advisor
- An adaptable and flexible approach
- It would be beneficial to have experience working within the Education Sector

**Hourly Rate**: £18-£23
