Established in 1963, Dyno-Rod is the UK’s leading drainage specialist.
We provide drainage solutions to our domestic, commercial, and industrial clients across Norfolk, Suffolk, and Essex. Our business is highly accredited and by royal appointment to Her Majesty the Queen.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and positive Accounts Administrator to join our friendly and multi-skilled team and provide support to the finance and operational teams.
**The Job**
To provide support to the Finance Manager in all aspects of operational accounts administration.
Based in our Rackheath offices just outside of Norwich, you would use your current (or transferable) skills to manage day-to-day accounting administration. This will entail using MS Office and our in-house MS CRM Dynamics platform. You should have an eye for detail, be friendly, organised, and consistent and be able to build a strong rapport with our customers and field Engineers.
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
Helping process Engineer paperwork (including cash/cheque reconciliation, checking time sheets and overtime claims).
Preparing customer invoices and receipts on our MS Dynamics CRM platform and addressing any customer/invoicing queries, thereby ensuring completed work orders are closed in a timely manner.
Facilitating customer credit card payments and managing the associated administration.
Maintaining and being responsible for internal database and spreadsheets
Answering telephones and dealing with customer enquiries.
Provide a general and overall support to the wider team during busy periods.
Undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within your remit.
**Essential qualities and behaviours we’re looking for**
A flexible, reliable team player with a good sense of humour (this is drains after all).
Ideally someone with good accounts administration and organisation skills as well as a good knowledge of Excel. (For the right person however this is a great opportunity to learn new skills or transfer existing skills with the potential for progress within the business).
A proactive person who can work independently and as part of a team with the ability to meet deadlines with a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
A willingness to learn and to add value, someone who’s not afraid to make changes and improve processes, who wants to build a career within our long-established family-run business.
