Accounts Administrator

To be successful in the role of Accounts Administrator with New Boundaries Group, you will be energetic and enthusiastic and competent with excellent communication skills. You will be numerate and comfortable working with systems. We use Zero and budget management software. This role could suit someone who has worked as a Finance Administrator, Office Administrator or Accounts Assistant.
**About The Role**
This role is to work as part of a small committed team based at our Head Office in Felthorpe who provide business support to our 6 locations supporting people living with Learning difficulties and Mental Health needs. These locations are all in the Norwich Area.
The role requires high levels of professionalism and accuracy.
**Payroll Processing**
Ensures the accurate and timely preparation of monthly payroll using the payroll system. More specifically:
- Inputting data in the Outsource payroll providers system and liaising with them.
- Analysis and verify all documentation received to process employee payroll;
- Validate that timesheet information entered by agency workers and employees has been approved by their Manager;
- Calculates and processes all payroll relevant information
- Ensure accuracy of final payroll calculation;
- Assists staff and managers with reconciliation of actual costs versus budget by providing detailed breakdown and analysis of payroll-related charges (salary, allowances and benefits);
**Accounts**
- Assisting with the smooth running of the Operations finance.
- General finance administration.
- Managing the accounts inbox to ensure all incoming enquiries are dealt with efficiently and professionally or passed to the correct person for action
- Updating our accountancy software with sales and purchase invoices
- Debt chasing in B2B environment
- Credit card receipt chasing and reconciliation
- Purchase office supplies as required
- Documenting processes, procedures and policies
- Supporting the operations team to manage customer data in line with our data protection and security policies
Ideally, you will:
- Have a proven track record of working in a finance team in a similar role
- Be highly numerate with good problem-solving skills
- Be confident on the telephone
- Be organised and able to prioritise workload efficiently
- Strong IT skills including Excel
- Focussed and driven and able to work independently without constant supervision
- AAT Qualified is preferred, though not essential
- Experience of SAP preferred, though not essential
- Experience of Payroll & handling queries.
- You will have a keen eye for detail, strong numerical skills, and an aptitude for administrative processes. Experience of cash handling, managing budgets, banking processes and procurement are essential.
The salary of £24,000 is pro rata to 30 hours a week.

- AAT Qualified is preferred, though not essential

Primarily we accept service users with learning disabilities but we also accept those with learning disabilities and underlying mental health issues, who may or may not present with challenging behaviours.
We are also able to admit service users who have further specific physical disabilities in addition to learning disabilities.
