**SALES ORDER PROCESSING TEAM LEADER** **CHERTSEY** **Salary £28K to £30K** **About the role** Our client is looking for an experienced Team Leader who is committed to delivering an outstanding level of customer service on behalf of operations. The successful individual will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and will be a driven individualwith strong customer service and administration skills, ability to work on their own initiative, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. This role requires planning, the ability to work as an individual but also integrate as part of the team and develop other team members. The successful applicant will be the first point for escalation and take full ownership of internal and external clients, SLA targets and business objectives. With a focus on customer care, operations, and communication, you will enhance the customer experienceas well as partner relationships to drive towards company goals and customer satisfaction. **Main responsibilities**: - Maintaining order management whilst overseeing the balance of the workload allocation within the customer fulfilment team - Allocation of specific responsibilities in order management and reporting and rotation of these amongst the team - Accountable for communication with internal stakeholders on any movements of orders &/or any internal issues that may affect sales - Resolving customer fulfilment issues direct with accounts or with support from Account Management - Responsible for the liaison between customers, production planners, Finance, customer fulfilment and Logistics - Overseeing the inventory management process and customer records, to ensure this process is streamless and robust - To represent Customer Fulfilment at internal meetings and project groups - Mentoring of the team - Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders and 3rd parties - Ensure compliance of all audit requirements and established processes - Deliver continued excellent customer service - Build and sustain a high-performance team by coaching, communicating, and enabling the team to contribute effectively - Work strategically to identify staff development potential - identify gaps, provide guidance, and mentoring to the team - Promote a culture of team working, and "problem and solution" ownership within the team - Execute process improvements and facilitate issues to resolution to the satisfaction of the customer - Support the manager during Audit period and assist business controls for JSOX to ensure a strong control posture and audit position is maintained. - Perform other such reasonable tasks and responsibilities as may be required from time to time - Previous experience in a similar role - Demonstrable experience using Oracle/ SAP - Proficiency with Microsoft Office products e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams - Previous experience of managing a team and being target driven - Proven experience and understanding of customer needs and meeting expectations - Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills - Team player - to be able to work collaboratively and using own initiative - Excellent planning, time management and organisational skills - with ability to prioritise workload - Excellent attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills - Enthusiastic and flexible approach
