Assistant Finance Manager

A leading specialist technology business based near Southampton is recruiting an Assistant Finance Manager to work closely with the Financial Controller managing the finances for a number of sites across the UK. It’s a broad role including ownership ofthe balance sheet and cost control.
The key responsibilities of the Assistant Finance Manager include:
- Assisting with the monthly accounts production
- Creation of sales invoices and entry into accounting system
- Purchase ledger
- Credit control
- Bank account and balance sheet reconciliations
The requirements for the Assistant Finance Manager are:
- AAT qualified or part-qualified CIMA / ACCA (actively studying)
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
- Previous experience in a similar assistant accountant or purchase ledger role
