Support Worker

Required - Support Worker

Full clinical paid training is provided along with hands on, practical training by his parent and the existing care team.

Clinical experience as a Support worker is not required, just a willingness to learn.

**Pay Rates**:
Mon - Sun £10.00 - £11.50 depending on shift

Shift Patterns: Tuesday’s 08:00-19:00, Thursday’s 08:00-16:00

Flexibility for respite hours 3-4 hours during the week/Saturday mornings.

Supporting a young male client based in the Chilworth area who is living with cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy and Scoliosis.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**He requires support with the following**:

- Tracheostomy care (training provided)
- PEG (training provided)
- Personal care
- Moving and Handling (Hoisting)
- Assistance with medications
- Interacting with the client to ensure he is kept entertained.

**Skills Knowledge and Expertise**:

- Willing to learn and confident
- Provide personal care
- Have an encouraging nature to support this gentleman emotionally & psychologically
- Assist with medication
- Commit to keeping thorough records
- Have a pure zest for life & a caring can-do attitude
- Positive attitude
- A bubbly personality
- Be adaptable and honest
