GSL Education is currently looking for a well-qualified
**SEN teaching assistant** for a secondary school in
**Manchester**. This is a full time role starting ASAP. If you have understanding of SEND and are a calm, friendly and creative individual who wants to make a positive difference in students' lives, this is a perfect role for you

As such, the school is looking for a SEN TA who will be dynamic in the classroom and who also possesses the ability to differentiate the work to a range of ability levels.

**About SEN TA Role**:

- To establish a warm, caring and supportive relationship with pupils in order to support them feeling safe and enabling them to enjoy and learn during their time at the School.
- Support the Class Teacher in all areas of the day to day running of the class
- To provide learning support for pupils in class or in 1:1 situations
- Provide individualised behaviour interventions within your role as well as ensuring the child’s safety at all times.
- Be working alongside teachers and supporting students of different ages.
- Be working with students with autism, Asperger and challenging behaviour.
- Have previous experience with SEND in a school environment.
- Be a confident, outgoing and personable individual with a passion for helping people.
