We are proud to be recruiting on behalf of an outstanding special needs primary school for a new **SEN Teaching Assistant **to start ASAP on a full time basis.

**The role**:

- SEN Teaching Assistant at primary special school for Autism & Complex Needs.
- Starting in ASAP on a full time basis.
- Hours are 8:30am - 3:30pm.
- You role will be to provide whole class & 1:1 support.
- Many of the pupils have sensory needs and need help learning to recognise and manage triggers.
- Several also struggle with speech & language communication needs and have input from therapists that the new SEN TA will need to work closely with.
- You will also need to help pupils with social & emotional difficulties.
- The school has a strong team atmosphere and they are looking for a new SEN TA that is hard working, collaborative, adaptable, resilient & patient.

**The school**:

- SEN primary school in Manchester.
- The school caters for young people from Early Years to KS2.
- All pupils have an EHCP for special needs for one or more of the following Autism, sensory needs, speech & language needs, physical, social, emotional or medical needs.
- Pupils are grouped based on needs & levels with no more than 10 pupils per class.
- Rated outstanding by Ofsted.
- Strong team ethos with friendly, inclusive and supportive atmosphere.
- Easily accessible on public transport.

To join us and be successful in this** SEN Teaching Assistant** role, you will need to:

- Some experience supporting young people with SEN.
- Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained.
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
