Here at **Waterhouse Manor** we have an exciting opportunity for an Activities coordinator to come and join our team to support the Activities Manager in providing support to enhance to lives of our residents.
**The Role**:
- You will help our residents maintain an active and fulfilling lifestyle by supporting them in activities they enjoy, whether that’s socializing with family and friends, pursuing hobbies like gardening, painting, or singing, or engaging with the local community.
- You will take the time to get to know each resident individually, their life stories, and what makes them happy. Working closely with their families, you will create personalized plans to help them continue enjoying the activities that are important to them.
- You will be creative, innovative, and enthusiastic in delivering activities and events, and will have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to promote the social and recreational aspects of daily living.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Build meaningful relationships with residents by getting to know their interests, hobbies, and life history.
- Organize and facilitate a variety of activities, from group events to one-on-one interactions.
- Support residents in participating in community events and outings, including trips to local attractions or groups.
- Create and implement tailored activities to engage residents based on their individual preferences.
- Encourage residents to participate in social and recreational activities to maintain their independence and well-being.
- Work closely with families and the care team to ensure residents’ needs are met.

**Shift Patterns**
- **Hourly Pay**: £12.48 per hour (Paid breaks)
- **Schedule**: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 3 days on, 3 days off (rolling rota), you are required to have flexibility to work over the 7 days and weekend work is a must
- **Average Weekly Hours**: 24.5 hours
