Job Function:
Planning, coordination & contract control activities.

Main duties & responsibilities:
**Project Budgets**

Regularly review Manhours & Bought Out Costs against baseline values.

Ensure that budgets are up-to-date & highlight potential issues.

**Project Scope**

Determining baseline Bill of Materials / Scope of Work.

Evaluating potential additions to the project.

Administering variations to contract, and the change control process.

**Project Schedules**

Generate & maintain a high-level overall schedule to manage multiple projects / resources and provide forward loading / capacity planning.

Generate high-level schedules for potential projects for the Sales / Proposals Teams.

Generate detailed baseline project schedules for the Projects Team.

Regularly update schedules as required.

Responsible for Work Breakdown Structures and Work Packs.

Regularly review schedules to verify that work has been completed as planned.

Ensure that schedules are kept up-to-date & highlight potential issues.

Evaluate manhours & durations for engineering & manufacturing tasks.

Identify available resources & potential bottlenecks.

Identify long lead items.

Identification of critical paths, potential risks, and scheduling opportunities.

**Cashflow**

Regularly review payment status of Customers & Suppliers.

Compile cashflow information.

**Document Administration**

Technical administrative support with project documentation.

**Reporting**

Measuring & reporting of project performance parameters / indicators.

Tracking project progress and achievement of milestones.

Analysis of planned against actual progress.

Producing weekly / monthly progress reports & look-ahead plans.

Raise potential issues that may affect project performance.

Presenting oral & written reports as required.

**General**

Active participation in Project meetings.

Ongoing continuous improvement of schedules and planning.

Liaise / coordinate with the Engineering, Projects, Purchasing, Workshops, Finance, Proposals & Sales Teams.

Completing tasks, as required, for the overall success of the Company.

Person specification:
Have an understanding of a technical environment, engineering or manufacturing.

Have engineering production knowledge and expediting experience.

Good IT skills including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and manipulation of data.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Project.

Be tenacious, and results driven.

Be able to prioritise.
