Position Summary
Your Key Responsibilities:
As Senior Demand Planner, you will manage and analyse the demand forecast & planning for Domestic Appliance products categories and peripherals for the UK and Ireland. Working in collaboration with relevant partners (Sales team, Product Marketing team, Operations team, Finance function and Global Supply Chain team at HQ as well as our factories) and high profile external customers you will build robust forecasts, complete plans and ensure that supply plans adequately support this. Another key responsibility will be close stock management, working with HQ and 3rd party logistics providers. As a senior colleague, you will support teammates with their day-to-day tasks and ensure the keys tasks are meeting the deadline.
Role and Responsibilities
Key deliverable will be:
- Work closely with HQ team and the factories to handle weekly SOP to secure supply against the key materials in line with SEUK & Ireland direction and optimise the stock management to ensure smooth warehouse operations.- Perform checks on sales demand of respective product category based on supply constraints and identify risks and opportunities to share with product management team.- Performs supply check on respective product category’s current demand and share a timely update with the relevant Sales and operation teams to be shared with the customers and take timely action to improve sales- Reports consolidated overview of weekly supply update with DA division including the senior management for the transparency of supply impact on monthly demand.- Handles stock ageing, identifying the aged risk stock in advance and sharing with the necessary teams. Sharing clearance opportunities well in advance to prevent from become aged.- Prepares Sales Projection Plan (SOKBO) based on SEUK & Ireland monthly achievement and Inventory plan to project stock holding of the SEUK & Ireland.- Coordinates with sales and operations team to handle stock levels for the home delivery and dot com customers ring-fenced in SEUK & Ireland warehouse.- Handles the Master file a key tool used for demand planning operations. Keeps check on the quality and accuracy of the data by performing key data checks.- Prepare End-to-End PSI to share detailed view of each SKU from production until sales. Identify risk and opportunities across channels.
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- In-depth understanding and working knowledge of Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP and Operations.- Experience of reporting data analytics to senior management team including the president- Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge and good know how of SAP functions.- Strong organisational skills.- Working cross functionally with various internal teams.- Ability to work to tight deadlines, multitask and prioritise the key tasks to meeting individual and team goals.
