People & Culture Program Specialist

Seeking a People & Culture Program Specialist for an exciting newly created role to work hand in hand with the Chief People officer of a global FMCG business based in Kent. The role will support the CPO and broader people and culture function with the strategic implementation of key people processes across the Group. The role will work across a range of projects and programmes within the People & Culture function and is a great opportunity for someone looking for great exposure and the opportunity to learn.
Critical responsibilities:
- Manage and the support the timely and high quality delivery of a range of projects within the People & Culture function
- Preparation of progress reports to the leadership team and People & Culture team on resourcing needs, project scope and progress advising on schedule changes and adjustments
- Facilitation of progress meetings and maintenance of action logs and tracking of HR projects
- Provide support on People & Culture initiatives and activities such as reporting and recruitment
- Contribute to the invocation of new opportunities to enhance efficiencies and improvements to people & talent strategies and processes
- Prepare high level briefings and reports for the senior management team
Experience required:
- Proven project/programme management skills with a minimum of 3 years commercial experience ideally within an HR or People function
- Experience with project management tools, such as Microsoft Project or equivalent
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently deliver high quality results on-time.
- Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
- Highly motivated, persuasive, priority-driven and collaborative.
- Strong business acumen and judgment.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and Forms)
- Driven by a strong desire to learn and grow
