Senior Management Accountant

My client, a leading Property Firm is looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join their expanding team. The company has recently acquired a number of new business that will increase the revenue for the group function.
As a Senior Management Accountant you will be responsible for delivering for a high portfolio reporting directly into the Group Financial Controller. Other duties will consist of.
- Perform the month end close of the relevant entities: ensure SAP accurately reflects the business operations and transactions
- Lead Management Accounts review meetings with the FP&A Team and ensure variance analysis commentary accurately reflects the performance of the entities and operations
- Produce monthly management accounts; including the review / preparation of deferred and accrued revenue schedules, cost accruals, prepayment schedules, bank reconciliations, investment property schedules, and all balance sheet reconciliations
- Be a point of contact for various internal and external stakeholders (including external managing agents, internal property / asset managers, operational heads and wider finance team)
- Review and challenge Purchase Requisitions and Business Cases raised by the Business; ensure accuracy of SAP coding of expenditure
- Monitor arrears reporting and bad debt provisioning / write offs
- Provide working papers for audit purposes and support audit queries (through liaison with the Financial Accounting function)
- Manage tax queries with the support of the internal tax team
- Continually look to build processes, improve reconciliation robustness and introduce controls
- Support Head of Accounting and wider Accounting team with ad-hoc projects and holiday cover
