Summary Ares Management Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chartered Accountant within the International Statutory Reporting team in London. This role will have the responsibility of ensuring financial statutory and regulatory reporting is performed accurately and timely at subsidiaries within the United Kingdom and throughout Europe. Primary Functions & Essential Responsibilities Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information for both US GAAP and local UK GAAP reporting for entities within the United Kingdom and other parts of Europe. Serve as a point of contact for questions and elevation of issues, working with respective business and support teams in the United States (California and New York) and India (Mumbai). Prepare and review ad‑hoc journal entries and monthly reconciliations. Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial reports, including board reporting presentations. Oversee indirect tax compliance, including VAT reporting and reconciliation. Assist with direct tax compliance and transfer‑pricing analysis by providing financial information and responding to queries. Facilitate and oversee completion of financial and tax audits. Participate in global and regional projects to enhance controls, processes and system efficiency. Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Treasury and other finance teams in different offices globally. Review and recommend processes to enhance efficiency. Assist with consolidation and structuring changes post‑acquisition transactions with entities in Europe. Education Chartered Accountant with post‑qualification experience of 5+ years. Experience Required Both public and private accounting experience preferred. Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge of US GAAP, UK GAAP and financial regulations. Knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting in other European countries is a plus. Strong project management skills across numerous activities and teams. Financial services/asset management organization experience. Familiarity with regional financial regulatory requirements. Preferred experience with Fusion/Oracle/OneStream. Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook. Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools is a plus.
