The post holder will assist the Sports Centre Manager in the co-ordination and management of Walton Park Indoor Football Centre. This will include the management of human, physical and financial resources to meet the needs of the customers and the charity.

**Specific Responsibilities**:

- **Supervision**:_

To supervise, under the guidance of the Sports Centre Manager, Sports Centre staff.

To manage the evening bookings to ensure smooth process throughout shifts

To agree staff rosters, approve leave and arrange cover as required ensuring the smooth operation of the Sports Centre at all times, this may include standing in for other staff at short notice if required.

To assist with the recruitment, selection and appointment of casual staff as appropriate.

Maintain up to date records of all hours worked by staff.

To bring any issues relating to staff performance to the attention of the Sports Centre Manager.
- _**Financial Management**:_
- Assist the Sports Centre Manager in preparing the annual budget for the Sports Centre.
- To be responsible for the security of all money received and ensuring all money is counted, recorded and banked according to policy.
- To ensure goods are received and checked and that associated paperwork is processed under the guidance of the Sports Centre Manager.
- _**Operational Management**:_
- Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with other centre groups and contribute to the overall development of the centre.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other agencies as necessary (e.g. Cheshire FA, Trafford Council, THT, WPSC, SWT).
- Opening and closing the Sports Centre as required, ensuring the safety and security of the premises.
- To carry out regular inspections, ensuring that inventory checks are undertaken and the appropriate records of equipment are maintained. Bring items of repair or replacement to the attention of the Sports Centre Manager.
- Supervise the Centre to ensure that premises are maintained to the required level of cleanliness at all times.
- Ensuring that the Sports Centre complies with all relevant legal requirements
- Ensure all lettings/use of the Centre’s facilities are cost effective.
- Identify areas of potential development and/or improvement and make recommendations accordingly.
- Ensure current Health and Safety legislations are adhered to at all times by appropriate staff. undertaking regular Health and Safety inspections/ risk assessments.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week

Pay: £11 per hour
