**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

Payment Operations is responsible for the end-to-end processing of payments, including Cheques, BACS, CHAPS and International and Faster Payments for Santander UK business.

You’ll play a key part in providing Santander customers with a first-class payments service.

**The difference you’ll make.**
- Processing and administering of payments and reconciliations and dealing with payment related enquiries from customers
- Supporting the operation by ensuring that all industry, regulatory and contractual SLA’s are met and exceeded on a regular basis
- Resolving queries and issues and identifying those that require escalation as appropriate
- Collaborating with internal departments, stakeholders and foreign institutions to protect the bank and it’s customers
- Delivering a high quality, flexible customer service which maximises customer satisfaction and consistently reinforces the strength of the Company brand

**What you’ll bring.**
- An excellent team worker, with a ‘Can Do’, flexible approach to ensure the needs of the business are met across different work streams, also with the ability to work independently and to own initiative
- The ability to quickly learn to navigate around multiple systems, such as Partenon

**It would also be nice for you to have.**
- Experience of working with and building relationships with different areas of the bank
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An understanding of payments processes and procedures

**What else you need to know.**

Role will be Monday-Friday based at home, with expectation to attend office with the team infrequently.

Team shift pattern can be between 0600-1930
