7 Hospitality Management is looking for a charismatic **Wedding &** **Events Coordinator** to join us in this exciting opportunity. This is a full time role based out of our **Brownsover Hall Hotel **property in Rugby.

Located in 7 acres of stunning Warwickshire countryside, this Grade II listed Victorian Gothic mansion is the perfect location for business and social events. This stunning property features 47 bedrooms and is full of character and charm with a converted stable block and Coach House.

**What will I be doing?**
- Establishing client requirements and identifying how the hotel can facilitate their needs for all wedding and event related enquires
- Responding to all wedding enquiries in line with company standards
- Ensuring enquiries are managed to maximise sales, occupancy and revenue, including up-selling equipment, F&B and relevant hotel facilities where possible
- Accurately inputting enquiries into the hotel system
- Actioning all enquiries promptly and following up on a timely basis
- Compiling accurate function sheets, distributing weekly and discussing with Operations Team accordingly, providing updates as required.
- Proactively convert key provisional business through showrounds and proactive chase with a particular focus on weddings
- Ensure clear billing instructions and communication of these details to the operations team
- Distribute daily events reports to ensure communication to all internal departments throughout the hotel
- Update social media channels to actively promote and sell the hotel
- Ensure feedback from guests are passed on to all departments
- Conduct show rounds with prospective clients promoting the hotel
- Attend and coordinate wedding showcases
- Ensure purchases orders are raised for any businesses supplying goods or services to the hotel for any meetings/events/weddings/inhouse events/Christmas
- Liaise with Head of Brand and Marketing to ensure there is consistent and constant marketing promoting the hotel’s facilities and offerings
- Proactive sales
- Work closely with the F&B team to ensure smooth running and execution of all weddings, conferences and events on site

- Previous experience within same role within hotels
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer/client service
- Ability to communicate effectively
- A strong ability to manage business/workflow priorities across a number of stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative
- Team player and able to work proactively with a wide remit
- Innovative, generating original solutions and lots of ideas
- Great charisma & people skills
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Excellent personal presentation
