Accounts Administrator

**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers.
- Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as Sage.
- Preparing monthly payroll and submission to HMRC.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements as required.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure financial stability.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and resolve discrepancies.
- Completion of year end routines and documents.
- Support the implementation of new accounting systems or software as needed.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team, including filing and documentation management.
- Answer and direct telephone calls / take messages when necessary.
- Other ad hoc tasks.
**Skills**
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Prior experience in the hospitality industry would be an advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
