Robertson Bell are excited to once again be working with this dynamic social housing provider in their search for a Head of Finance to join their team on a permanent basis in this newly revamped role. Reporting into the Director of Finance, you will holda critical role in the oversight of the day to day running of the finance department, from overseeing and upskilling a small team, to leading on all things management accounts, budgeting and forecasting.

**The key duties of this Head of Finance role are as follows**:

- Full responsibility for producing the monthly management accounts, providing analysis on any anomalies and presenting these to the Director of Finance.
- Take the lead in the annual budget setting process, working closely with a variety of stakeholders to challenge assumptions as required.
- Manage a small, but highly capable team of four, providing them with opportunities to progress within their careers and reach their full potential.
- Lead the quarterly forecasting process and provide ad hoc cost benefit analysis to Heads of Departments upon request.
- Deputise for the line manager in SMT meetings on a quarterly basis.
- Provide invaluable support in the year-end process, acting as a key contact for the External Auditors and preparing disclosure notes.

Although officially based out of the organisation’s Head Offices near Twickenham, there will be opportunities to work from home for two or three days per week.
- Achieved their full accountancy qualification.
- Experience leading the monthly management accounts process from start to finish.
- A background working in the social housing sector.
- Experience in preparing budgets and forecasts.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ideally, experience managing a team, but this is by no means essential.
