Meikleour Estate, an historic country estate near Blairgowrie, is recruiting **a Hotel Receptionist/ Duty Manager for its award winning boutique hotel The Meikleour Arms (AA 4 Star Gold and 1 Rosette, AA Accomodation the Year Scotland 2022).** **Both a customer facing and office position**, this is an excellent opportunity to gain experience both in back office and front of house.
Your main responsibilities will be:

- Checking customers in and out of the hotel and ensuring guests have had an excellent experience
- Responding to hotel enquiries and managing hotel reservation
- Planning restaurant bookings for hotel residents while optimising sittings with restaurant visitors.
- You will also have some Front of House shifts where you will be serving guests in our award wining rosette restaurant.
- After appropriate training you will be given financial related responsabilities whilst on shift like daily financial reconciliation, cashing-up and hotel guest billing and invoicing.

**Competitive Package**
Full time (40h) permanent job, all overtime hours accounted for

**Hourly pay = £13.45/hour (£12/hour rate+ holiday pay) and in addition you will receive tips from around £1.50/hour **(tips from an HRMC compliant Tronc system). For 40h a week that's £25000 a year with 28 days paid holiday plus around £3000 of tips.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
