**Your main responsibilities will be**:

- On Receptionist Shifts: _
- Checking customers in and out of the hotel and ensuring guests have had an excellent experience
- Responding to hotel enquiries and managing hotel reservation
- Planning restaurant bookings for hotel residents while optimising sittings with restaurant visitors.
- After appropriate training you will be given financial related responsibilities whilst on shift like daily financial reconciliation, cashing-up and hotel guest billing and invoicing.
- On FOH shifts:_
- Take restaurant orders and serve our guests in our award winning rosette restaurant.
- Some shifts you might also work behind the bar, taking drink orders and managing the till and bills.

**Remuneration**:

- **Very attractive package Full time (40h) permanent job, all overtime hours accounted for: For 40h a week: £27000 a year + around £3000 ti**ps from an HRMC compliant Tronc system. Hourly rate equivalent calculated for overtime: £14.57 (£13/hour+holiday pay) + £1.50 expected tips = just **over £16/hour with tips**

**Accommodation**:
Quality shared accommodation with private ensuite bathroom in Meikleour village available to rent if required.

**Hours of Work**
You will be expected to work some morning and evening shifts
Typical Morning shift: 7:00 am
- 3pm
Typical Evening shift: 2:30pm - 10:30pm

**Requirements**:

- Excellent written and spoken communication
- Excellent customer service skills
- Minimum 1 year previous experience in hotel reception
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Meticulous and numerate

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
