**Your main responsibilities will be**:

- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take restaurant orders and serve our guests in our award-winning rosette restaurant.
- Some shifts you might also work behind the bar taking drink orders and managing the till and bills.

**Remuneration**

We are offering a very attractive package of **40 hours per week: £27,000 a year + around £3,000 tips** from an HRMC compliant Tronc system, 28 days paid holiday.

Hourly rate equivalent calculated for overtime: £14.57 (£13/hour + holiday pay) + £1.50 expected tips = just over £16/hour with tips.

**Hours of Work**
To meet the requirements of the hotel, you will be expected to work a blend of morning and evening shifts:

- Morning shift: 7:00 am
- 3pm
- Evening shift: 2:30pm - 10:30pm

**Essential Requirements**
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Minimum 1-year previous experience of FOH.
- Meikleour Arms Hotel is in a rural _area _with limited public transport, particularly on weekends. There are buses through the village for a 7 am start or finish after 6 pm.
- We can only consider applicants who are able to evidence their right to work in the UK. Appropriate checks will done prior to employment.
- Professional reference checks will be made with your approval.
