Meikleour Estate, an historic country estate near Blairgowrie, is recruiting **a Hotel Receptionist/ Duty Manager for its award winning boutique hotel The Meikleour Arms (AA 4 Star Gold and 1 Rosette, AA Accommodations the Year Scotland 2022).** **Both a customer facing and office position**, this is an excellent opportunity to gain experience both in back office and front of house.
**Your main responsibilities will be**:

- Checking customers in and out of the hotel and ensuring guests have had an excellent experience
- Responding to hotel enquiries and managing hotel reservation
- Planning restaurant bookings for hotel residents while optimising sittings with restaurant visitors.
- You will also have some Front of House shifts where you will be serving guests in our award winning rosette restaurant.
- After appropriate training you will be given financial related responsibilities whilst on shift like daily financial reconciliation, cashing-up and hotel guest billing and invoicing.
- You maybe required to help the FOH team in the restaurant from time to time

**Remuneration**:

- **Very attractive package Full time (40h) permanent job, all overtime hours accounted for.**

Hourly rate equivalent calculated for overtime: £14.57 (£13/hour+holiday pay) + £1.50 expected tips = just over £16/hour with tips

**Hours of Work**
You will be expected to work some morning and evening shifts
Morning shift: 7:00 am
- 3pm
Evening shift: 2:30pm - 10:30pm

Note that you will need your own mean of transport as there is no more bus in the village for a 7am start or after 6pm.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
