Service care solutions are recruiting on behalf of Warrington Council for a Youth Worker to join their team.
The main purpose of this position is to plan, implement, monitor and evaluate high quality early help provision to ensure young people in Warrington aged 11-19 are supported to reach their full potential.
This position is based on a 6 month contract however that can increase or even become permanent depending on your performance.
What you will do:
- Co-ordinate the development of programmes, through a variety of delivery methods including centre-based, detached and outreach work and targeted 1:1 support
- Ensure all sessions are clearly defined, meeting identified needs with clear evidence of outcomes. This will undertake group work and 1:1 case management work.
- Lead youth support workers in the planning and delivery meetings
- Ensure all data is collected and updated on the correct systems
What you need:
- Experience working with young people on an individual or group basis
- Flexible working pattern including evenings/weekend work
- Able to travel through the borough
- Ability to plan and deliver responsive early help 11-19 work programmes

Once they are placed and complete their probationary period you receive a £250 bonus
