**THE ROLE**

The arts, alongside sport and youth work is at the heart of Warrington Youth Zone’s offer to young people. As a member of the creative arts team, you will be responsible for leading you will be key in ensuring young people have access to an exciting and creative programme that will be challenging, stimulating, fun, engaging and developmental. You will be involved in facilitating a range of visual art activities enabling young people to explore their creativity and grow their skills.

Within the arts team we are looking for talented youth arts workers to make up a team with a diverse set of skills and expertise, who are also passionate about working with young people. Ideally you will have experience of delivering a variety of virtual art mediums such as drawing, painting, sculpture and mixed media arts.

**RATE OF PAY**:
Warrington Youth Zone commits to paying the National Minimum Wage +50p.
- Aged 21 + over £11.94
- Aged 18-20 £9.10
- Under 18 £6.90

**LOCATION**:
Warrington Youth Zone (Dallam Lane, WA2 7NG)

**REPORTING TO**:
Creative Arts Coordinator

**CONTRACT**:
Permanent: Part time hours from 4- 8 hours available on
- Monday 4.45pm - 21.15pm
- Friday 4.45pm - 22.15pm

**BENEFITS**:

- 33 days holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays (rising with length of service)
- 3% employer pension contribution once earnings threshold is reached

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £6.90-£11.94 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 8 per week

- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Working with Young People: 1 year (preferred)
