**JOB SUMMARY**

An exciting role has come up for a Logistics and Stock Control Assistant for the hugely popular **REFY BEAUTY **brand based in Manchester on a permanent basis

The role requires an organized & driven individual who can own all REFY inbound transportation & manage day-to-day operations of the logistics department as well as manage warehouse space including internal and external storage.

They should have experience in working with 3PL’s, inbound freight and freight forwarders in UK, USA, EU and Far East.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Continuously improve logistics services, obtain freight rates and secure the best costs available.
- Plan & manage deliveries using internal delivery schedules and external logistic company software; ensure that stock is tracking on time & feedback to the relevant teams.
- Accurate record keeping to provide the Logistics Manager with data for weekly and monthly reports.
- Communicate with external stakeholders (manufacturers, 3PLs, freight forwarders) to ensure stocks are always in the right place at the right time.
- To work in conjunction with the Merchandising team to decide whether goods should go by SEA or AIR, ensuring they are on time and within budget.
- Communicate all deliveries to our internal teams so that they can be planned for accordingly in terms of staff hours, stock counts & warehouse space.
- Fully responsible for the accurate receipting of goods in to the business & troubleshooting delivery issues where appropriate.
- Work with the warehouse and 3PLs to optimize storage using LEAN methods.
- Maintain a great relationship with external stakeholders.

**SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE**
- A minimum of 2 years experience working within a logistics or supply chain department ideally with stock control experience.
- Experience working in the retail sector preferred but not essential
- Experience in working with 3PL’s is preferred
- Experience in USA, Far East and EU transport is essential.
- Demonstrated strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Good team player with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

**Salary**: £23.00-£25.00 per year
