**Product Specialist / Business Analyst - Competitive Salary + Excellent Bens - Hybrid (London)**
**Overview**
An excellent opportunity has arisen with an exciting market leading commodities trading company. We are seeking an experienced Product Owner / Business Analyst to join their London team to assist in the delivery of software development projects.
**Role and Responsibilities**:
- To work with Product Owners and other Business Stakeholders to ensure that business/systems requirements are understood, and associated user stories are captured to an appropriate level, user acceptance testing plans are identified and followed, issuesare documented/prioritised accordingly and go live/communication plans established.
- To work with the Development Team including UX Designers, System Developers and Quality Assurance to ensure that requirements are clearly understood by all parties, smoothing the development lifecycle and driving project success.
- To create and maintain the relevant Product Backlogs & User Stories using Jira.
- To create and maintain the relevant project/development timeline using Roadmunk.
- To undertake initial testing of solutions ensuring that the system is ready before exposing to the business for UAT.
- To document: meetings, business processes, risks and issues, status reports, business flows and other documents as required.
- To take responsibility for your performance and to work together to achieve our organisational goals.
- To attend training courses which are identified as being necessary for the performance of the role.
- To be fully conversant with the Employee policies, including Health & Safety legislation and fire and emergency procedures.
- To comply with any reasonable instruction issued by your Manager.
**Essential Skills and Experience**:
- Strong knowledge of Business/Systems Analysis and associated Systems Design & Analysis Methodologies (SADM) and specifically the gathering of requirements and translation of these into user stories to facilitate software development
- Strong knowledge of Project Management methodology (e.g. PRINCE2) and implementation lifecycle
- Strong knowledge of Agile delivery methodology (Kanban/Scrum)
- Demonstrable track record of development projects as a: Business/Systems Analyst, Project Manager or Product Owner
- Experience with agile project management tools such as JIRA, Roadmunk, Trello
- Experience in working with Product Owners, UX Designers and Software Developers
- Experience in stakeholder management within complex organisations.
- Experience of managing/working with remote development/delivery teams.
- Comfortable with being responsible for the delivery of significant development projects.
- Resilient and a self-starter, able to manage multiple priorities and workstreams simultaneously
- Be a fast learner, ambitious, and comfortable working in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent presentation skills, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- A proactive and team-oriented professional, adopting a consultative and cooperative approach to your work
- Degree educated
