**Investments & Risk Application Specialist - London - Hybrid Working**
An excellent opportunity has arisen with global organisation for an Application Specialist to join our multi-disciplined Digital and Technology team. In this role you will provide specialised IT services, technology product management, and Information Securityservices to high performing the Investments and Risk functions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Resolve incidents and service requests through taking informed, timely and corrective actions
- Lead on testing of technology products, document faults, implementing resolutions and retesting to agreed standards.
- Take technical responsibility for the provision, configuration, usability, stability, availability, integration for technology products.
- Identify integration opportunities and participate in integration projects
- Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for continuous improvements to processes, products.
- Exercise cost control to ensure working within the agreed operating budget.
- Participate in the investigation and resolution of issues relating to security breaches in technology products by generating security logs, undertaking remediation action under direction of senior colleagues. Document risks and their probability of occurrenceand impact on client and D&T.

**Essential Skills**:

- Practical experience with ITIL processes e.g., problem management, incident management, change control, etc.
- Experience with Investments systems, Investments Risk analysis systems and technologies.
- Experience working in a multi-disciplined Agile and DevOps environment.
- Familiar with programming and scripting languages e.g., PowerShell, python, PHP
- Familiar with data warehouses and data lakes.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Application or software product(s) specialist certification
- Advanced Excel Macro skills
- Integration and automation techniques
- Machine learning
- ITIL Foundation certified
- Configuration Management
- Experience with digital experience systems and preventative management systems e.g., NexThink
- Familiar with intent based leadership
- Lean process improvement
