Your role in the team

Here at William Hill, we're working on exciting projects, migrating our marketing and analytics tags across our domains. You'll be working with a team of Implementation Specialists, Architects, Product Owners and Analysts and will be a key stakeholder forMarketing. You'll work with our Customer Data and Data Management Platforms to test and leverage Server Side Tagging, to enhance conversion and personalisation..

As an implementation Specialist, you will be working with Tealium IQ to provide our marketing vendors with clear, accurate and insightful data. You will write customer JavaScript code and will work directly with the supplier and have the chance to learnnew industry best practice as your role evolves.

Skills needed

You will know your way around tag management platforms and be a dab hand with writing custom Javascript. You will be the type of person who strives for an implementation using best practice as opposed to non-scalable work arounds.

This role will fit someone who is keen to learn and enthusiastic to develop a career. You may already have hands on experience working in tag management and want to take your discipline a step further by learning server side tagging, Optimisation set upsand CDP (Customer Data Platform) implementations. The role will enable you to work directly with the supplier (Tealium) and also learn new industry best practice such as our new cookie consent project.

You will have:
You'll be a self-starter and have a proactive approach to your work. With a keen eye for detail, you'll be able to spot trends, identify opportunities and troubleshoot to mitigate risks.
- Relevant experience of TAG Management Systems and ideally a good understanding of Google Analytics (GAIQ (certified) would be great).
- Some knowledge of Optimizely & Audience Stream and Server Side Tagging using a product such as Event Stream or similar is highly desirable, as is some knowledge of Tealium IQ (working with libraries, creating extensions, load rules and tag mapping)
- Some experience in Digital Analytics
- The ability to write custom JavaScript
- An understanding of Mobile App Tracking would be an advantage
- Experience of configuring Customer Data and Data Management Platforms
- Having an eye for detail
